Prof. Dr. Jürgen Volkert

Professor of Economics and Economic Policy at Pforzheim University. From April 1996 to August 2000 researcher and Managing Director at the Institute for Applied Economic Research, Tuebingen. GAAC post doc grant for a research exchange at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Mass. and at the Centre for Social Science Research Berlin (WZB). Studied International Economics at the University of Tuebingen and was research assistant at the department of economic theory of the University of Tuebingen where he also achieved his doctoral degree.
