Jochen Späth studied economics, specialising in quantitative methods/statistics, econometrics and economic theory, at the University of Tübingen and at the Universidad del Pais Vasco, Bilbao.
He has been an IAW research associate since April 2007 and his work is mainly focused on the quantitative analysis of micro data.
Current Projects:
- The impact of start-ups on the qualification, age and wage structure of the employment in Baden-Württemberg. Commissioned by: Ministry of Economics Baden-Württemberg (2007/2010).
- The Prospects and Limits of Wealth Reporting. Commissioned by: Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2009/2010).
