Katja Neugebauer joined the IAW as a research associate in January 2010. Before, she worked as a research assistant at the department of International Finance and Macroeconomics (chair: Professor Dr. Claudia M. Buch). She studied Economics with a focus on quantitative methods at the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen and the University of Edinburgh, where she received her Diploma in 2004.
Her current research focus is on the regulatory differences in international banking.

- Foreign Direct Investment in Services. Commissioned by: German Research Foundation (DFG) (2008-2010).
