Regina Weber (née Sappl)

Regina Weber joined the IAW as a research associate in October 2009. Between 2002 and 2004 she completed a commercial apprenticeship with Siemens. Afterwards she studied International Economics at the Universities of Tübingen and Oviedo (Spain).

She is mainly working on projects concerning labour market and social policy issues and their scientific evaluation.

Regina Weber is currently on parental leave.

  • The European Social Fund (ESF) in Baden-Württemberg – "Regional competitiveness and employment", 2007-2013: Counselling the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Commissioned by: Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2008-2015).
  • Evaluation of the Job Entry Guidance Programme (Berufseinstiegsbegleitung, § 421s SGB III). Commissioned by: Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2009/2014).
  • Program accompanying and concluding evaluation of the federal program "Kommunal-Kombi". Commissioned by: Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2008/2012).
  • Supporting and Evaluating the Implementation of the Second Stage of the Federal Programme "Perspective 50plus". Commissioned by: Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2008/2012).
  • Evaluation of the pilot project “Bürgerarbeit“ ("Citizen’s Work"). Commissioned by: Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (2011/2015).
