New lecture series: Bundesbank-IAW Lecture on European Economic Integration
This lecture series invites leading scholars in the field of economic integration to address a wider audience of academics as well as policy makers and the business community, thus fostering dissemination of recent research results on topical issues of European economic integration. The lecture series is sponsored by the Deutsche Bundesbank, Regional Office Baden-Württemberg.
First Bundesbank-IAW Lecture on European Economic Integration, held at the University of Tübingen on June 30, 2014: “Is the Euro Crisis Over?” by Paul de Grauwe.
Paul de Grauwe holds the John Paulson Chair in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics. Prior to joining LSE, he was Professor of International Economics at the University of Leuven, Belgium. He is a world-renown expert on monetary economics and has published widely in scholarly journals. He is the author of several authoritative books, including a recent monograph on Behavioral Macroeconomics (Princeton University Press) and an acclaimed textbook on The Economics of Monetary Union (now in its 8th edition with Oxford University Press).
