Culture of „decent work“ – Educational and social certifications of quality of life and work (feasibility study)

Certifications exist for the environment, consumer protection, food and socially desirable conditions of employment; what they all have in common is that they are labelling sociopolitically desirable competitive advantage. To reach the general public with sustainable cultural roots, the corporations need to reflect on their communications.

“Gute Arbeit”/"decent work" needs to become a natural component of social life, not just a waste of legislators’ time, because they are only responsible for the underlying frameworks.

This feasibility study aims to show how educational and social certifications create cultural roots of quality of life and work via an internet-based public communication process. It is about permanent, sustainable patterns of the corporations, which they communicate to the outside. The shape and transparency of this communication between corporations, their clients, community organisations and other businesses should be the criteria for the certifications.

The feasibility of a certification like this for corporations and products on the basis of internet-based communications processes will be analysed. There will also be a prototype of an internet platform.
