Diploma Economist, had studied International Economics at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and University of Maryland, College Park, USA. In February 2014 he has finished his PhD with the title 'Essays on Economic Effects of Labour Market Institutions, especially in Industrial Relations ', supervised by Prof. Dr. Laszlo Goerke (IAAEU and University Trier) and Prof. Dr. Bernhard Boockmann (IAW Tübingen).
He has joined the IAW as a research associate in April 2012 and is senior researcher since April 2015. His research interests are in the field of empirical labour economics. His recent work involves the evaluation of active labour market programmes, the effect of international trade on the labour market, and selected topics in educational economics.
