Political uncertainty makes forecasts difficult - Economic forecast for Baden-Württemberg for the 1st quarter of 2025.

› Baden-Württemberg

The nowcast and the forecast are based on a total of 95 different individual indicators for Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the EU and the world. The currently available measured values for the indicators relate to February 2025. The increased volatility of many economic indicators since the beginning of March, in particular the losses on the US stock market or the rise in the euro/dollar exchange rate, are not yet included in the forecast. The Bundestag's decision to reform the debt brake could also have an impact on GDP in the period under review up to the third quarter of 2025, but cannot yet be taken into account.
