Günther Klee

Short CV

Günther Klee M.A. graduated in political science and sociology from the University of Tübingen. He was educated in the methodology of empirical social research at the Universities of Cologne and Essex (UK). After participating in a DFG-research project on the integration of Greece in the EU he trained as an application programmer (IBM). He has been employed at the IAW since 1988 where he also served as administrative director from 1993 until March 2022.

Günther Klee has been involved in numerous empirical research projects, in many cases as project leader. He is mainly interested in issues relating to economic structural change as well as in labour and social policy.

He retired on 30 September 2022. Since then, he has been contributing to the IAW's project work and administration with a significantly reduced time budget.
